Schaumburg Park District to host Family Fun Night

The Schaumburg Park District is encouraging children to get up and play at the Sport Center Family Fun Night.

The 110,000-square-foot Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road, will host a Family Fun Night from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19.

The Sport Center offers more than enough room to get up and move during structured, supervised sports, games and activities, including basketball, volleyball, Dodgeball, preschool tot lot, soccer, T-ball, softball and gymnastic obstacle courses.

"This is a great event for families in the community to come together and enjoy an active night out," said Karen Shannon, Sport Center manager. "It is amazing to see so many people being active and having fun."

The first 200 residents to register receive a gift at the door. Admission is free for Schaumburg Park District residents; $5 per family for nonresidents.
