Kreps joins UIC men's basketball staff

Former UIC Flames basketball star Robo Kreps will join head coach Howard Moore's staff as a graduate manager.

Kreps was a four-year letterwinner for UIC (2008-11) and currently ranks as the program's seventh all-time leading scorer with 1,594 career points and fourth in career threes (230).

Kreps' duties will consist of team logistics, assisting with strength training and conditioning and providing leadership guidance to the players. He will be pursuing his master's degree in Educational Studies.

"Robo is the ideal candidate for this position," said Moore. "His passion for the sport and ability to relate to the players will be a welcome addition to our staff. He is a first-class individual and going forward I know he will make decisions based on what is best for the players."
