Sign up for Sunday school and church picnic at Christ Lutheran

Join the fun outside on Sunday, Sept. 14, at Christ Lutheran Church, 41 S. Rohlwing Road in Palatine, for the Sunday school signup and Church Picnic Extravaganza. At 11:30 a.m., after the inspirational 10:30 a.m. worship service, there will be games, a moonwalk, face painting and food/refreshments - all to celebrate the beginning of another Sunday school Year.

The picnic on Sept. 14, is an opportunity to learn more about Christ Lutheran Church and the Sunday school program. Meet Pastor Lohafer, and Sunday school superintendent Gail Rollefson. Talk with the teachers and register for Sunday school. There is no charge for Christ Lutheran Church's Sunday school Program.

Sunday school classes start 10:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, for children who are 3 years old by Sept. 1, 2013, through sixth grade. Bible stories, music, crafts, movies and drama provide exciting Christian learning experiences that help build the foundation for a lifelong loving relationship with God.
