Police: Chicago man throws infant from vehicle

Chicago police have arrested a man who they say threw an infant out of a moving vehicle after beating his girlfriend and her son.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports police arrested the 46-year-old man early Monday after he ran over the 18-month-old girl. They say he had beaten his 23-year-old girlfriend and her 7-year-old son before throwing the girl out a window of the vehicle.

Both children were hospitalized with bruises. Police say both of their conditions had stabilized Monday.

The man was taken into custody. It's unclear if he has been charged.
