Grayslake library cards encouraged:

Grayslake Area Public Library is joining the American Library Association and libraries nationwide in celebrating Library Card Sign-Up Month in September, officials said in a news release. A library card is free and allows access to all the materials, information and activities available at the Grayslake library. Books, DVDs, music and the ability to reserve meeting space are among the library's benefits. Anyone who signs up for a Grayslake library card for the first time in September will be entered into a drawing. At the end of the month, prizes will be awarded in three categories: adults, teens and children. For information, visit grayslake.info or call (847) 223-5313.
