Card cheat who used invisible ink gets casino ban
NEW LONDON, Conn. - A New Jersey man who marked cards with invisible ink that he could see with special contact lenses has been banned from Connecticut's casinos.
Bruce Koloshi, of Summit, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Wednesday to the 10 months he served since his arrest last September at Mohegan Sun.
Prosecutors say the 55-year-old Koloshi has cheating convictions in Nevada, Iowa and Illinois and is facing charges in Louisiana.
The Day of New London reports he was taken into custody at a poker table after a surveillance operator notified police that he was "clearly marking the cards" with ink that could only be seen when the video was viewed in black and white.
Police found a piece of fabric with the ink on it in his pocket.
