Hoffman Estates businesses cited for alcohol sales to minors
Two Hoffman Estates businesses recently were cited for selling alcohol to minors.
The Illinois Liquor Compliance Commission and Hoffman Estates Police Department conducted underage alcohol compliance checks at 14 businesses in the village on July 14. Neighborhood Pantry at 1469 Glen Lake Road and Poplar Creek Bowl at 2354 W. Higgins Road were both cited for selling alcohol to minors.
Hoffman Estates was the only Northwest suburb among 18 Illinois municipalities that participated in the ILCC's July 2014 compliance report.
