Antiques sale benefits infant welfare:

The Lake Forest Chapter of Infant Welfare Society of Chicago will sponsor the 46th annual Antiques & Treasures, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Deerpath Middle School, on Deer Path Road, one mile east of Route 41 in Lake Forest. The event features 50 Midwest dealers and the Treasures Tent filled with items from many Lake Forest estates. A selection of food and baked goods will be available for purchase. Admission is $10, and children under 12 are free. All proceeds benefit the Angel Harvey Welfare Society of Chicago Community Health Center. The Infant Welfare Society of Chicago provides community-based health care to under and uninsured, underserved children and women who would otherwise lack access to basic medical services.
