Pitching matchups: The White Sox' Chris Sale (10-2) vs. Ryan Vogelsong (7-8) Tuesday at 9:15 p.m.; Scott Carroll (4-7) vs. Jake Peavy (0-3) Wednesday at 2:45 p.m.

At a glance: After losing three of four at Seattle, the White Sox wrap up their West Coast trip with a pair of interleague games against the Giants. The Sox swept a two-game home series from San Francisco in mid-June. Sale ranks second in the American League in ERA (2.14) and WHIP (0.89), but he has allowed 6 earned runs on 11 hits in 12 innings over his last 2 starts. Peavy, who pitched for the White Sox from 2009-13, is a combined 1-12 (4.73 ERA) with the Red Sox and Giants this year. After making 5 rehab appearances with Class AAA Charlotte, relief pitcher Matt Lindstrom (ankle) is scheduled to come off the disabled list Tuesday.
