Dine out to benefit Turning Point

Join "Dine Out for Turning Point" during the week of Monday, Aug. 11, to Saturday, Aug. 16.

Turning Point in Woostock offers domestic violence victim services, emergency shelter, children's services and counseling, trauma-informed mental health program, partner abuse intervention program, and more. For details, visit www.mchenrycountyturningpoint.org.

On Monday, Aug. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m., stop by McDonald's restaurants in McHenry County and help raise funds for Turning Point. You must mention Turning Point when you order. The locations are: 678 Northwest Hwy. in Cary; 551 Crystal Point Drive in Crystal Lake; 840 Northwest Hwy. in Fox River Grove; 10711 Route 47 in Huntley; 200 Route 20 in Marengo; 1904 N. Richmond Road in McHenry; and 250 S. Eastwood Drive in Woodstock.

On Tuesday, Aug. 12, stop by for a meal at Culver's at 1620 W. Lake Shore in Woodstock; 1101 Adams Drive in McHenry; or 501 Pingree Road in Crystal Lake. Make sure you bring a flyer for the Woodstock location.

Turn your meal into funds for Turning Point Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the following Wendy's locations: 245 S. Randall Road in Algonquin; 740 Northwest Hwy. in McHenry; or 120 N. Eastwood Drive in Woodstock.

On Thursday, Aug. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m., stop by the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Crystal Lake. Guests can also donate a dollar to spin the wheel or play Plinko for prizes.

Throughout day Friday, Aug. 15, Buffalo Wild Wings in Crystal Lake will donate 15 percent of all pretaxed food sales to any individual with the flyer. You can either dine in or carry out. Alcohol and promotional discounts do not apply.

On Saturday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., help raise money for Turning Point of McHenry at Jersey Mike's Subs, 5006 Northwest Hwy., Crystal Lake. Bring in the flyer and give to the cashier. Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated to Turning Point.
