Documents from Walker-related probe being released

MADISON, Wis. - Documents seized during a now-closed investigation into aides of Gov. Scott Walker when he was Milwaukee County executive are being released.

The Milwaukee County executive's office plans to make public on Friday 14 gigabytes of data. That is just a small portion of the 500 gigabytes of data that was handed over during the investigation that concluded in 2013.

The batch of documents being released does not include any emails, which will come later at an unspecified date.

Instead, they include documents saved on county employees' work computers such as pictures, word files and spreadsheets.

Six aides and associates of Walker's were convicted as a result of the investigation. Walker was not charged.
