Quinn hasn't kept his promises
I noticed that Gov. Pat Quinn and Sen. Dick Durbin were in the picket lines for a higher minimum wage. This is the same governor who said he would not raise taxes and raised them immediately after getting elected. Maybe our current earnings would go further if he had not raised taxes.
Sen. Durbin has had plenty of time to do something about the minimum wage. Now that it's election year he is getting very interested.
Amazing how all the politicians come out of their holes to act concerned with our problems.
Just remember, Quinn has not made good on most of his promises, so don't go spending your money on his promised hourly increase.
He's an empty suit.
