The DuPage County Fair opens today in Wheaton and runs through Sunday.
Today's forecast calls for sunny skies with highs in the mid 70s. In other words, it's a perfect day to head to the fair.
Here are five events you should check out today.
1, Dairyland Donkey Races
Head over to the Horse Arena at 8 p.m. to try your hand at donkey racing. It's free with fair admission.
2. Woody's Big Cats
A new addition to the fair. The display features an adult liger -- a lion/tiger hybrid -- a white tiger, golden
tiger, adult male lion and a male lion cub. Three shows daily: 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The show is located across from the Grandstand.
3. Sheep Shearing Demonstrations
Head over to Ag-Ventureland to find out how to shear a sheep. Five shows each day at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
4. Monster Truck Show
Get your monster truck fix at 6:30 p.m. at the Grandstand.
