Annual leukemia/lymphoma benefit concert set for Saturday

On Saturday, July 26, Beiermann Music and Friends will sponsor the third annual leukemia/lymphoma benefit fundraiser concert at 7 p.m. at Congregational United Church of Christ, 40W451 Fox Mill Blvd. in St. Charles.

Proceeds of this program are donated to an already established charitable organization known as Andy's Chapter of Hope (with a church connection developed through church member Amy Bishop).

In addition to being a fundraiser for leukemia/lymphoma research, this concert will serve as a memorial for those who have lost their battle with this disease, as well as a "rallying cry" to those currently dealing with it.

The July 26 concert will feature an orchestra of Beiermann Music students (present and past) as well as a choir of area choral teachers and college students.

Suggested donation for admission is $15 but donations of any amount will be welcomed. A reception in the church parlor will follow the event.

Advance tickets are available but not required. For details, call (630) 584-0929 or email office@uccstc.org.
