Aurora University to host open houses for new students

Aurora University will host three open houses in July for prospective students.

During the information sessions, faculty and staff will provide information about degree options, course offerings and admission procedures. Financial aid counselors also will be available.

These admission events will be held in July.

• The Transfer and Adult Summer Event will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Dunham Hall Atrium, 1400 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.

Complete your bachelor's degree at Aurora University. Explore traditional undergraduate and adult degree completion programs, and discover easy transfer of credit and courses that build upon your previous studies. Faculty, financial aid counselors, admission representatives and current students will be available to answer your questions. Register at aurora.edu/transferevent.

• The Freshman Summer Open House will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Crimi Auditorium in the Institute for Collaboration, 1347 Prairie St. in Aurora.

Learn more about freshman admission, academics and campus life at the Freshman Summer Open House. Presentations on university admission, academics and student life will be given. Campus tours and an ice cream social will follow the presentations. Register at aurora.edu/summeropenhouse.

• The Adult Degree Completion Open House will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31, at Dunham Hall Atrium, 1400 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.
