Southwestern Indiana man allegedly bilked his ex-employer

NEWBURGH, Ind. - A southwestern Indiana man faces theft and forgery charges alleging that he embezzled more than $114,000 from his former employer.

Thirty-eight-year-old Joshua Kenworthy of Newburgh was arrested earlier this week and is being held on $5,000 bond at the Warrick County Jail.

The Evansville Courier & Press reports that State Police say that Kenworthy is accused of selling plastic from Warrick County-based Fibertech to several other companies "for his personal gain."

Authorities say Kenworthy deposited the cash into his own business account that he set up in January 2013. The alleged embezzlement occurred between January 2013 and February 2014.
