Lake County health, resources fair:

Reducing the number of undiagnosed people with HIV infections is at the center of a health and resources fair organized by the Lake County Health Department/Community Health Center and community partners in observance of National HIV Testing Day on Friday, June 27. The public is welcome to attend the fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the front lawn of the Belvidere Medical Building, 2400 Belvidere Road, Waukegan. In addition to free food and children's activities, free HIV testing is available for anyone age 13 years and older. Results are available within 15 minutes. Also, hepatitis C screening will be available for adults 18 and older. The department's sexually transmitted infections program offers free HIV counseling and testing. Information about hepatitis and screening for sexually transmitted diseases is available.
