Thanks, Geneva letter carriers

Thanks, Geneva letter carriers

The National Association of Letter Carriers held their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive May 10. The Geneva letter carriers collected 4,417 pounds of food that was donated to St. Peter Community Food Pantry in Geneva.

We want to thank every one of these carriers for their time and effort.

Our Geneva neighbors also deserve kudos for their generous donations, as well as the volunteers who spent their Saturday afternoon sorting and storing the donations for our next distribution.

In April our Food Pantry served 427 households totaling 1,564 people, so there continues to be a need for our services. Our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped to make this annual event so successful.
