Discovery Museum gets grant:

The Lake County Discovery Museum has been awarded a $750,000 state grant that will be used to store and protect its collection. The grant is part of a $20 million state jobs program. The museum, which now is near Wauconda but is slated to relocate to Libertyville, will use the funds to build a permanent storage and care facility at the Lake County Forest Preserve District general offices in Libertyville. That's where the museum wants to relocate. The total cost of the project is $1.24 million.
