Mt. Prospect wrong to reject Wage Act

How can the Village Board of Mount Prospect vote against the Prevailing Wage Act?

This Act was adopted so all projects would be completed by the most qualified companies with the highest trained employes. Sometimes we as taxpayers do pay more but it would be completed by the best.

Since the board is so much against this act then why do they support the union workers within the Village of Mount Prospect? Either they are for or against the unions.

I am sure the mayor can get volunteers to help at the Central School if she would ask and not complain. I am a retired union tradesman and would gladly help.
