How much clearer could it get?

As reported in the Daily Herald on May 21, 2014 regarding the proposed two new fire stations to be built in Rolling Meadows, it stated that the aldermen agreed if the issue was put on a referendum, it would probably fail. That should tell the city council that the residents do not want two new fire stations. How much clearer can one get?

Are the aldermen representing the people and what we want or their own agendas?

And will someone tell Mayor Tom Rooney that if the city borrows money, it eventually has to be paid back!
