Why is this pipeline any different?

Mr. Minnerick rants that the GOP wants to build the XL Pipeline. What is different about this pipeline versus the thousands of miles of oil pipeline that currently cross the U.S.?

It has been studied for five years and approved. The unions are for it. The president's decision so far seems political because if he approves it he upsets the environmental wackos.

Mr. Minnerick also states the GOP is not concerned with threatening our water supply or polluting the atmosphere. This must be because the GOP does not drink water or breathe air. This is silly. The oil companies give a lot of money to politicians. A little research shows a third of the contributions go to Democrats. The number three recipient is a Democrat.

I think points of view are more effective with some intellectual honesty.
