Man accused of driving into hospital, pointing gun

Police have arrested a man accused of driving a car through the front doors of a Chicago hospital and pointing a gun at a security officer.

In a news release, Chicago police said 35-year-old Nikki Donisi of the Near West Side faces several charges, including unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated assault of a peace officer with a weapon.

The confrontation took place Wednesday at RML Specialty Hospital in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. No one was injured. Police said Donisi fled and was arrested later.

Police said Donisi drove to the hospital after an argument in which he pointed a gun at his girlfriend and another woman.

He was scheduled to appear in bond court Friday.
