Stevenson mourns death of senior

A student at Stevenson High School died unexpectedly at home Thursday night, officials at the school reported Friday.
Daniel Majeed, a senior less than two weeks away from graduation, was with his family at the time of his death, according to a letter sent to parents by District 125 Superintendent Eric Twadell.
The school made grief counselors available during the school day Friday for students. Additional counseling was being offered at the school on Saturday and Sunday morning, Twadell said.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Majeed family during this difficult time," Twadell wrote.
