Mayors of Chicago, Los Angeles bet on NHL playoffs

The mayors of Chicago and Los Angeles have made a bet on the NHL's Western Conference finals.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said Wednesday that they're gambling on the Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings series. Emanuel is putting up a six-pack of Chicago's Half Acre beer, Eli's cheesecake, pastrami from Manny's deli and Garrett's Popcorn. Garcetti is betting Tommy's chili, wine and a copy of "L.A. Son: My Life, My City, My Food" by Roy Choi.

The two mayors are also betting the modeling and programming skills of their cities' children to build a civic landmark using a 3-D printer that will be sent to the winning city.
