West Chicago 10, Waubonsie Valley 4:

A 7-run bottom of the third inning put the Wildcats (15-15, 10-13) in command of the Upstate Eight Conference game. Austin Kordik, Jon Michiels and Peyton Seidler combined for 6 hits and 7 RBI. Dave Kordik struck out eight over 6 innings while earning the win. Luke Marzano, Ben Vietri and Tyler Hasper had 2 hits for Waubonsie Valley (21-8).

Glenbard South 4, Ridgewood 3:

The Raiders (18-11, 12-5) scored twice in the top of the sixth and twice in the seventh to pull out the Metro Suburban Conference victory. Andrew Wrona drove in 2 runs and Will Cornwell, who notched the save for winning pitcher Dominic Fazzari, who went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Naperville North 4, Naperville Central 3:

The Huskies (14-15, 9-11) took two of three from Naperville Central (20-12, 15-6) in the DuPage Valley Conference series. Dan Riley went 2-for-4 and Sam Siebers had 2 RBI. Kurt Krejci pitched a 5-hitter with 4 strikeouts and 3 walks. Bobby McMillen went 2-for-3 with his sixth homer of the season for Naperville Central.

Metea Valley 13, Bartlett 3:

Jacob Petersen went 3-for-5 with a double and 4 RBI as the Mustangs (19-12, 14-9) scored all their runs in the final three innings of the Upstate Eight Conference win. Gunner Vega went 3-for-4 and Ben Doiron and Matt Fitzgerald drove in 2 runs. Sam Janus pitched into the fifth inning to win on the mound.

Wheaton North 12, Glenbard North 2:

Zach Leander drove in 3 runs and Michael Mannix added 2 RBI to lead six multihit players for the Falcons (17-13, 13-8) in their five-inning DuPage Valley Conference win. Winning pitcher Stephen Crane scattered 7 hits. Luke Greenberg went 2-for-3 with a double for Glenbard North (18-13, 12-9).

Westmont 5, Timothy Christian 4:

The Trojans (10-16) saw their season end with a loss in the Class 2A Timothy Christian regional semifinals. Westmont faces Thursday's winner between Lisle and IC Catholic Prep in Saturday's title game.

Neuqua Valley 5, Lockport 3:

The Wildcats (14-16) added 2 insurance runs in the top of the seventh and held on for the nonconference win. Alex DiFranco went 3-for-4 with a double and notched the save for winning pitcher Matt Butler, who drove in 2 runs. Alex Wolanski also had 2 RBI.

York 8, Morton 3:

Seth Dvorak went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI for the Dukes (20-12) in the West Suburban Conference crossover win. Anthony Santos also went 3-for-4 while Mike Homan drove in 2 runs. James Pagni was the winning pitcher.

Willowbrook 10, Glenbard West 0:

The Warriors (17-11) rolled to the five-inning West Suburban Conference crossover victory behind homers from Mike Rothmund and Brian Johnson, who combined for 5 runs scored and 5 RBI. Mike Petruzzi added 2 RBI. Winning pitcher Jeremy Knable struck out three, walked none and allowed 4 hits. Dan Rustemeyer went 2-for-2 for Glenbard West (16-15).

St. Francis 4, Elk Grove 3:

The Spartans (20-10) scored 3 runs in the bottom of the third inning to seize control of the nonconference game. Zach Prociuk and Brett Whelton had 2 hits. Winning pitcher Christian Kuzemka and Ryan Hodgett, who picked up the save, combined on the mound.

Hinsdale Central 5, Addison Trail 3:

Max Peters homered twice and drove in 3 runs for the Red Devils (17-14) in the West Suburban Conference crossover. Matt Bruns went 2-for-2 and Michael Johnson drove in 2 runs. Charlie Banke was the winning pitcher. Christian Grabowski went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI for Addison Trail (10-19).
