Military museum plans Memorial Day events

Chicago's Pritzker Military Museum & Library will mark the Memorial Day weekend by offering free access to exhibits and other events to the public.

The museum says it plans to offer free access on Saturday to its new "SEAL: The Unspoken Sacrifice" exhibit. The exhibit features photos of SEALS and their families along with related artifacts on loan from the Navy SEAL Museum in Florida.

Veterans and others will also be encouraged to share their stories with the museum's oral history program.

A free showing of the film "Tears of the Sun" is planned at 1 p.m.
