Route 173 to close for track work:

Weather permitting, Route 173 in the Richmond area will close for nearly a week, beginning June 2, for reconstruction of the Wisconsin & Souther Railroad Company at grade crossing west of Keystone Road in Richmond. The closure will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, June 2, and conclude on or before 9 a.m. Sunday, June 8. The posted detour route for eastbound traffic on Route 173 is south on Greenwood Road east on Vanderkarr Road/Tryon Grove Road, north on Keystone Road to Route 173. The posted detour for westbound traffic is south on Keystone Road, west on Vanderkarr Road/Tryon Grove Road, north on Greenwood Road to Route 173.
