Boomers fall to 0-2 as Crushers earn walk-off win

AVON, Ohio - The Schaumburg Boomers fell to 0-2 when the Lake Erie Crushers walked off with a 2-1 victory on Ryan Hutchison's solo home run Saturday night.

Right-hander Charle Rosario was sharp in his Boomers debut, tossing 6 shutout innings while allowing 4 hits with a walk and 6 strikeouts. The Boomers scored in the third when rookie Tyler Sciacca walked in his first professional at-bat, moved to third on a single by Alexi Colon (2 hits) and scored on Jordan Dean's groundout.
