Chief Keef Highland Park case delayed a month

The driving under the influence case against emerging Chicago rap star Chief Keef was continued to June 27. In a brief hearing Friday, attorneys for Keith Cozart, 18, of the 800 block of Happ Road in Northfield, requested a continuance in front of Lake County Judge Joseph Waldeck. Cozart pleaded not guilty last month to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of drugs after being arrested by Highland Park police on March 6. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to a maximum of one year in prison. He remains free from custody after posting the required 10 percent of his $3,000 bond.
