Geneva 4, Streamwood 3: Natalie Filippo had a double and 2 RBI and Jessica Daley went 2-for-4 with a double in this Upstate Eight River loss. Melissa Malcolm also had an RBI. Kaitlyn Hedger took the loss for Streamwood (4-14, 3-12).
Cary-Grove 12, Dundee-Crown 6: Grace Pilz was 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and Sarah Kendeigh went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI to lead the Trojans (13-10, 6-4) to a Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win. Amy Clemment and Lisa Semro added 2 hits each for C-G and Caitlyn Adams was the winning pitcher. Casey Weeks went 3-for-4 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI for Dundee-Crown (3-14, 0-12) and Megan Emerson had a home run and 2 RBI. Lauren Girard was the losing pitcher.
Burlington Central 15, North Boone 0: Courtni Neubauer allowed just 1 hit in 3 innings and Amanda Ratliff no hits in 2 innings to lead the Rockets (17-7, 10-2) to a Big Northern East win. Christina Ahlers (3B), Shelby Young (2-for-3, 3B), Alyssa Mish (2-for-2, 2 RBI), Ratliff (2 RBI) and Kassidy Gaylord (2 RBI) led the offense.
