Home damaged, no injuries, in Naperville fire

No injuries were reported in an early morning fire Thursday that caused roughly $100,000 damage to a garage and house on the 1500 block of Chickasaw Drive in Naperville, authorities said.

Naperville firefighters were called at 12:31 a.m. and found the fire burning in part of the garage.

Firefighters said they brought the blaze under control in about 10 minutes.

The main fire was contained to the garage, officials said, but moderate smoke damage was reported inside the home.

The house was deemed uninhabitable until repairs can be made. The cause and origin of the blaze remain under investigation.
