Don't retire at age 62, stay engaged

Cause of Alzheimer's disease: Lack of exercise for the brain.

Cure: Drop the practice of having employees retire at age 62 and substitute the practice of semiretirement at that age. Semiretirement would mean transitioning from eight to four hours per day on the job.

People are living longer these days and are healthier. They need to remain engaged and constructively occupied. Staying longer on the job would help with the shortage of skilled workers in this country.
