Bald eagle hurt in winter Indiana storm released to wild

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Wisconsin

The eagle was discovered in the northern Indianapolis suburb of Carmel after suffering a concussion in a winter ice storm.

Laura Edmonds of the Indiana Raptor Center says to see a bald eagle take flight after rehabilitation is a "mini-miracle."

Indiana has more than 100 pairs of bald eagles.
