Aurora man with mental health issues missing

Aurora police want the public's help in finding a missing 21-year-old man with mental health issues.

Police say Elijio Martinez Jr., of the 500 block of Howard Avenue, has not been seen since early Friday morning. Martinez has psychiatric issues and may not speak when spoken to, police said in a release.

He has left home before but never for this length of time, family told police.

He's described as a male, Hispanic, 6 feet 1 inch and 200 pounds with very short black hair and brown eyes. He has a distinctive haircut, police say, because he recently shaved off the hair on the front half of his head and both his eyebrows.

Anyone who has seen him should call (630) 256-5000 or their local police.
