Palatine Park District holds fishing derby

The Palatine Park District held its annual fishing derby Saturday at Plum Grove Reservoir located on Algonquin Road near Harper College.

The day included catch and release fishing for all ages, largest fish competitions, a casting competition for kids and raffle prizes.

The event began in 1991.
