McHenry 8, Huntley 5: Matt Sullivan homered and Mark Skonieczny had a double for Huntley in this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division loss. Eric Luecht was the losing pitcher.

Hampshire 5, CL Central 4: Michael Kruse had a double and Trey Schramm drove in 2 runs to lead Hampshire to an FVC Fox win. Andrew Brown scattered 6 hits to pick up the pitching win.

Prairie Ridge 2, Jacobs 0: Jacobs managed just 3 hits, 2 by Matt Koziak, in this FVC Valley setback. Reilly Pelteir gave up just 5 hits in suffering the loss.

Maine West 7, Streamwood 0: Chad Caminitti had a double for the Sabres in this nonconference defeat.

Batavia 7, Elgin 0: Ryan Sitter and Matt Karinski had Elgin's only hits in this Upstate Eight River loss.

Waubonsie Valley 5, Bartlett 4: Jake Barrutia and losing pitcher Mike Wick each had doubles for the Hawks in the UEC Valley loss.
