Hoffman Estates promotes Women's Checkup Day
The village of Hoffman Estates will take part in National Women's Health Week, which runs this year from Sunday, May 11 through Saturday, May 17.
As part of the effort, the village encourages women to participate in National Women's Checkup Day on Monday, May 12. This day is dedicated to encouraging women to visit their healthcare provider to receive or schedule a checkup, and to promote getting regular checkups.
This observance, led by the Office of Women's Health, also focuses on the importance of incorporating preventive and positive behaviors into everyday life, and encourages all women to make their health a priority.
