District 50 nominees sought:

Woodland Elementary District 50 is asking parents and community members to nominate an outstanding teacher for the Alan Mann Tribute to Excellence in Education Award. The award is named for Alan Mann, a former District 50 board member and an active member of the Gurnee community. It recognizes teachers who demonstrate effort and commitment beyond normal expectations. Up to four recipients will be awarded an iPad for use in their classroom. The award is funded through contributions by the Mann family. To nominate teachers, click on the surveymonkey.com link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MR29MB7. The district is also collecting internal nominations. A team will narrow down the nominees before recognition in early June. Nominations will close May 30.
