Libertyville 15, Lake Forest 0 (5): Pitcher Michaela Mooney whipped up a no-hitter in leading Libertyville to a quick victory. Mooney finished with 9 strikeouts and allowed only 3 walks. Offensively for the Wildcats, Tayler Oberman and Jessie Lauret each had 4 hits while Jamie Stevens and Mooney each had 3 hits.
Grayslake North 2, Crystal Lake Central 1: Grayslake North pitcher Nikki Livengood went the distance and struck out eight in 7 innings to lead the way. She also allowed only 1 walk.
Wauconda 11, Round Lake 4: Winning pitcher Kayla Wedl helped herself by hitting a double. Meanwhile, she rolled up 11 strikeouts and did not allow a walk. Angie Exline helped Wedl, too. She went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles. Teammate Alyssa Wagner added another double and Jena Heck tacked on a triple for Wauconda, which improves to 17-4 on the season and 7-0 in the North Suburban Prairie Division.
Warren 14, Mundelein 1: Michelle Wasen was perfect, going 4-for-4 at the plate for Warren. She also drove in a run while teammate Amber Leneau drove in 3 runs on 2 hits, both doubles. Winning pitcher Jenny Carpenter gave up only 1 hit and rolled up 6 strikeouts.
