Bonke's big day helps Warren win
Jazmin Bonke went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Warren's softball team held off visiting Zion-Benton 4-2 in North Suburban Lake Division action Friday.
Shannon McKeon added a 2-run double for the Blue Devils. Jana Wagner earned the win.
Lake Zurich 6, Mundelein 2: Maria Schroeder led off the North Suburban Lake game with a home run, and Olivia Schneider pitched a complete-game 4-hitter for the Bears.
Schroeder also walked twice, as Lake Zurich improved to 14-4 and 4-2 in the division. Schneider struck out six and walked five.
Maddie Zazas doubled and drew 2 walks for Mundelein (14-7, 2-4).
