Naperville Central 8, WW South 3:

The Redhawks (14-6, 9-1) broke open a 3-3 DuPage Valley Conference tie by scoring twice in the top of the sixth and three times in the seventh. Luke Daley went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI while Michael Kolzow and Jack Alberts had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Winning pitcher Brett Kirk struck out eight. Ben Flores went 3-for-4 and scored twice for WW South (9-5, 7-2).

Willowbrook 3, Leyden 0:

T.J. Case struck out 13 and allowed only 4 hits for the Warriors (12-5, 7-3) in their West Suburban Gold victory. Mike Rothmund doubled, tripled and drove in a run. Jake Cady and Brian Johnson also had 2 hits and an RBI.

Lisle 3, Manteno 2:

George Swedie's 4-hitter with 7 strikeouts helped the Lions (11-9, 3-4) hold off Manteno's late rally in the Interstate Eight Conference. Swedie and Jake Oard each went 2-for-3.

Glenbard North 3, West Aurora 1:

Alex Barrett's 2-run triple highlighted a 3-run third inning for the Panthers (12-7, 6-3) in their DuPage Valley Conference victory. Complete-game winner Matt Albin struck out 10.

Glenbard South 2, Elmwood Park 1:

The Raiders (15-3, 9-0) pulled out the Metro Suburban Conference game in nine innings when they scored on an error. Winning pitcher Dominic Fazzari struck out 13 in 8 innings, with Will Cornwell striking out the side in the bottom of the ninth. Joey Atkinson went 3-for-4.

Addison Trail 5, Morton 4:

Trailing 4-3 heading to the bottom of the seventh, the Blazers (4-15, 3-10) scored twice to pull out the West Suburban Gold victory. Jake Atiyeh doubled home the tying run and Frank Amato doubled home the winning run. Zack Dowz was the complete-game winning pitcher.

Lake Park 5, Naperville North 3:

Sparked by Mark Latoria's 2-run double, the Lancers (7-10, 3-6) scored 3 runs in the top of the sixth to rally for the DuPage Valley Conference win. Rhett Rapshus struck out 10 and scattered 4 hits in the complete-game effort. Mike Laurenzo went 3-for-3 for Naperville North (7-9, 3-6).

York 10, Glenbard West 0:

The Dukes (9-11, 5-5) exploded for 6 first-inning runs and cruised to the five-inning victory in the West Suburban Silver. Alex Pedote fired a 1-hitter. Seth Dvorak, Mike Homan, Phil Schlitter and Mitch Miner drove in 2 runs apiece.

St. Charles North 7, Metea Valley 1:

Jack Szott went 2-for-4 and Andy See drove in the lone run for the Mustangs (9-8, 5-5) in the Upstate Eight Conference loss.

Downers South 5, Hinsdale South 0:

Danny Spinuzza pitched a 3-hitter with 4 strikeouts and no walks as the Mustangs (12-4, 10-0) won the West Suburban Gold series opener. Danny Oriente and Matt Zinnecker went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI. Matt Marrera had 2 hits for Hinsdale South (9-8, 7-3).
