Schaumburg Garden Club to hold plant sale Sunday

Members of the Schaumburg Community Garden Club spent Thursday and Friday busily preparing for their native plant sale this weekend at Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg.

Though today is exclusively for the pickup of preorders, the public sale will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

There will be a master gardener on site Sunday to answer questions and provide specific tips about creating butterfly gardens through the planting of milkweeds.

Though the sale is held annually, this particular year's marks the club's 25th anniversary.
