The talent competition has been coordinated by Larry Rossi of RPM Creative Music since its inception.

Last year's Junior Division Kane County Fair Talent Contest winner Daniel Souvigny of Hampshire, a talented pianist, won the first-place junior division competition at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Talent Contest State Competition this past January in Springfield. He will perform this year at the Illinois State Fair.

The contest has seen and heard singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, instrumentalists, ventriloquists, and acrobats - even a juggler or two. The contest boasts wholesome family entertainment and encourages talented members of the Kane County community to showcase their talents. Parents proudly bring their young aspiring stars to participate in or just to watch.
