Brandon Peterson fired a 2-hitter with 8 strikeouts and no walks in a 77-pitch complete game for the Warriors (13-5, 9-2) in their Upstate Eight Conference victory. Luke Marzano and Tyler Hasper both homered and went 3-for-3 with 5 RBI. Ben Vietri went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI.
Naperville Central 15, West Aurora 6:
An 8-run second inning powered the Redhawks (13-6, 8-1) to their seventh straight win and their 10th in 11 games. Bobby McMillen, Mac Heatherly and Brendon Daley homered and combined for 7 RBIs. Three pitchers, including winner Brad Dubow, combined on the mound.
Joliet Catholic 2, Benet 1:
Pat Peterson struck out 11 and scattered only 6 hits, but the Redwings (11-5, 2-1) fell in the East Suburban Catholic Conference. Chris Whelan went 2-for-3 for Benet, which sliced the deficit in half with a run in the bottom of the fourth. Winning pitcher Drake Fellows went the distance for Joliet Catholic.

The Knights (11-11, 6-4) cruised in five innings as Max Faut went 4-for-4 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI in the Suburban Christian Conference victory. Austin Reed doubled and tripled while Stone Brinkman also had 2 hits.
