Mint Marshmallow Chocolate Chip Cookies

2¼ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

¾ cup sugar

¾ cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon mint extract

2 eggs

2 cups (12-ounce package) semisweet chocolate morsels

1 package (12 ounces) mini marshmallows

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine flour, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt in small bowl.

Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and mint in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks and put the marshmallows on the baked cookies as a finishing touch. Allow to cool completely.

Makes about 30 cookies.
