Don't cut funds to Bartlett museum
We were dismayed to learn that the Village of Bartlett intends to reduce funds available for operations and staffing of the Village of Bartlett museums.
The Bartlett History Museum is one of the finest local history museums in the area. It would be a disservice to the community to eliminate funding for this wonderful destination and its many programs and exhibits.
The value it provides, as an archive of our past and an educational opportunity for the youth in our community, is far too important to be diminished. We urge Bartlett's elected officials reinstate the proposed cuts prior to approving the budget.
