Glenbard South 12, Timothy Christian 6:

The Raiders (12-3) improved to 8-0 in the Metro Suburban Conference behind a 14-hit barrage. Andrew Wrona went 3-for-5 while Joey Atkinson, Will Cornwell, Alex McGimpsey, Kyle Carli and Dylan Brambora all had 2 hits. Brambora picked up the win and Cornwell got the save. Cole Miller went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI for Timothy Christian (4-11, 1-8).

Metea Valley 13, Neuqua Valley 0:

A 9-run bottom of the third inning powered the Mustangs (8-6, 5-3) to the five-inning Upstate Eight Conference win. Christian Howell pitched a 1-hitter while striking out seven and walking two. Ben Doiron, Gunner Vega, and Matt Fitzgerald drove in 2 runs as Metea Valley took two of three from the Wildcats (6-9, 5-5).

Waubonsie Valley 13, East Aurora 0:

Brandon Peterson pitched a 2-hitter with 9 strikeouts and no walks for the Warriors (11-4, 7-1), who broke a scoreless tie by scoring all their runs in the fourth inning. Nick Drago went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI. Ben Vietri, Tyler Hasper and Tad Wegner each had 2 RBI.

St. Francis 11, St. Edward 1:

Christian Kuzemka went 3-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI as the Spartans (11-5, 6-1) rolled to victory in the Suburban Christian Conference. Chris Smith and Zach Prociuk drove in 2 runs. Three pitchers combined on the mound for the six-inning win.

Montini 4, Chicago Christian 2:

Winning pitcher Tyler Quick struck out 10 in a 3-hitter for the Broncos (12-1, 8-1) in their Suburban Christian Conference victory. Rhett Wojkovich and Kyle Jackson had 2 hits and Nick Steiner drove in 2 runs.

Wheaton Academy 5, Guerin 4:

A hit batter with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Warriors (7-9, 3-6) the Suburban Christian Conference victory. Luke Kram went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI and Brett Albaugh also drove in 2 runs. Jake Lindstedt was the winning pitcher in relief.

Willowbrook 7, York 6:

Tyler Zunkel and Tyler Vavrek had 2 RBI while Vavrek, Jake Cady, Brian Johnson, Luke Schuemer and Dom McDonnell all had 2 hits for the Warriors (10-5) in the West Suburban crossover. Jeremy Knable won on the mound. Anthony Santos and Dan Cirone each had 2 hits for York (7-9).

Wilmington 6, Lisle 5:

After Christian Grego homered to lead off the bottom of the seventh, the Lions (8-8, 2-4) wound up stranding the tying and winning runs at first and third base in their Interstate Eight Conference loss. Billy Loconsole went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Bartlett 12, West Chicago 10:

The Wildcats (8-7, 4-6) rallied with 7 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, but it wasn't enough to win their third straight against Bartlett. Connor Dall went 4-for-5 while Ryan Koester and Dave Kordik had 2 hits apiece.

Downers North 7, Addison Trail 4:

The Trojans (11-4) burst to a 6-0 second-inning lead in the West Suburban crossover win. Emil Baftirovski, who homered, Ray Greco and Paul Cappetta had 2 hits apiece. Myles Farley was the complete-game winning pitcher. Christian Grabowski went 2-for-3 for Addison Trail (2-13).

Hinsdale Central 2, Hinsdale South 0:

The Red Devils (8-10) scored both their runs in the third inning as the West Suburban teams combined for only 11 hits. Austin Butler went the distance to earn the win. Anthony Nicholas also pitched 7 strong innings for Hinsdale South.

Lyons Twp. 11, Downers South 6:

Danny Spinuzza went 3-for-4 and Chris Pedrak homered for the Mustangs (8-4), who fell in the West Suburban crossover.
