Frusolone powers Grayslake Central win

Grayslake Central 12, Johnsburg 2: Juliana Frusolone blasted 2 home runs and drove in 5 runs to lead the Rams to victory. Frusolone had a total of 3 hits, as did teammate Jamie Brew. Winning pitcher Brittany Brown rolled up 7 strikeouts in 6 innings.

Mundelein 11, Round Lake 1: Mundelein scored 9 runs over the final two innings to break open its 2-1 advantage through four innings. Winning pitcher Jamie Hemmer rolled up 4 strikeouts and helped her cause at the plate with a home run. Mundelein (11-6) got a triple from Maddie Zazas and doubles from Abbey Rosenow, Brittany Woodyard, Danielle Beelow and Nicole Parney. Rosenow, Woodyard and Maria DeVito totalled 2 hits apiece on the day.

Hampshire 2, Grayslake North 1: Nikki Livengood went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Grayslake North. Lauren Olsen scored the Knights' only run.
