Parents can take kids to 'Nature by Stroller' series

Moms or caregivers with infants or toddlers can bring young ones out on perhaps their first nature program during the Forest Preserve District of Kane County's "Nature by Stroller" program series.

Bring your stroller and diaper bag, click the seat belt on the baby, and enjoy a guided stroll through area forest preserves Friday, April 25, in Batavia and Friday, May 16, in Elgin.

The April "Nature by Stroller" program takes place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 25, at Dick Young Forest Preserve in Batavia; use the Main Street entrance at 39W115 Main St.

The May "Nature by Stroller" program will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, at Fitchie Creek Forest Preserve; use the Russell Road entrance at 39W933 Russell Road, Elgin.

Both programs are free, but advance registration is required. Call (630) 444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to register.
